Verdict on Ice Road: Vengeance
Recap
Okay, so I just watched this film, and it’s a real ride. It centers around a guy named Mike who unexpectedly finds himself tangled up with some seriously bad people. He’s forced to team up with the local community to take down this dangerous group that’s trying to seize control. It’s a bit of a return for him to some treacherous mountain roads, and a lot of the movie focuses on him trying to get people to safety. It’s a pretty intense, action-packed story!
Best Parts
The challenging mountain paths create thrilling, suspenseful moments. Beyond that, the story focuses on a larger struggle for power and resistance against a dangerous threat, constantly presenting new and difficult challenges to overcome.
Worst Parts
The movie focuses heavily on preparing for action scenes, but its portrayal of the criminal underworld feels unoriginal. It doesn’t really expand on the ideas from the first film, and surprisingly, features very little driving on ice, a key element you’d expect.
Final Thoughts – Ice Road: Vengeance is the standard late night action movie.
