I was getting bombarded with questions, and it felt like all eyes were on me right away. When we finally got to MTV, I was so happy I could give them a shout-out. They had just given her flowers, which was a really nice touch, and I really appreciated that gesture. It meant a lot to me that they thought of that first.

Simone Johnson is absolutely earning the praise she’s receiving. Her father, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, comes from the famous Anoa’i Family, a lineage known for producing incredible wrestlers. Given his own successful wrestling career, it’s understandable that one of his children might follow in those footsteps and continue the family tradition. However, as the Red One actor explained to MTV, Simone is determined to create her own unique career. She’s already making strides in that direction, having become the youngest General Manager in NXT history.
