Ted Lasso Was My Comfort Show, But Stick Is Taking Its Place

Originally, “Ted Lasso” served as my go-to comfort series during its initial broadcast. Indeed, it tackled some serious subjects and didn’t flinch when addressing mental health as a crucial plot element. I’m really drawn to heartwarming tales about underdogs in sports, and “Stick” seems to encapsulate not one, but three such stories. We follow Pryce as he struggles to recover after a setback, Santi Wheeler (Peter Dager) as he strives for recognition in the golf world, and Elena (Mariana Trevino) as she endeavors to revive her dreams that had been shelved for years. There’s much more to discover in this compelling narrative.

I Hope Apple TV+ Picks It Up For A Second Season, Because This Show Could Go Places

As of now, only one episode remains in the first season of the series “Stick”, and I’m eager for more. At present, Apple TV+ hasn’t confirmed whether this will be a single-season show or not, but considering its potential, I believe it has strong prospects. With numerous paths it could take, particularly if Timothy Olyphant’s character Clark Ross, who has been quite an impressive villain recently, continues to appear, the possibilities are endless.
