The hit Disney+ fantasy show is likely to continue for another season, and surprisingly, it’s been renewed for a fourth season before the current third season has even aired.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians likely won’t end with Season 3

On January 22, 2026, a user named @MyTimeToShineHello shared online that they’d heard the Disney+ show Percy Jackson had been renewed for a fourth season. However, Disney has not officially confirmed this news.

Okay, so I just finished watching all of Season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians on Disney+ and Hulu! And the best part? They dropped a little teaser at the end showing that Season 3 is actually happening! We’ll have to wait a bit, though – it’s not coming until 2026. Still, it’s awesome to know the story will continue!

According to Forbes, the next season of the show will likely arrive much sooner than the two-year wait between seasons one and two. While there’s no confirmed release date yet, filming is currently happening in Vancouver, and it’s anticipated to premiere in late 2026.

The third season will be based on “The Titan’s Curse,” the third book in Rick Riordan’s series, which hasn’t been adapted into a movie before. The story begins with Grover discovering two new powerful half-bloods with unknown parentage, and the disappearance of the goddess Artemis. Percy, Annabeth, and the Hunters of Artemis must work together to find Artemis and defeat a dangerous monster that threatens Olympus. They have just one week to complete their quest and confront the ominous “titan’s curse” prophecy.

The season finale features a surprising twist: Chiron explains that Zeus transformed Thalia into a pine tree because she didn’t want to participate in the battle against Kronos. This differs from the original story, where Thalia actively fights monsters alongside her friends. Once Thalia recovers from a coma, she immediately asks about Luke, leading Percy to suspect she might be the important figure foretold in the Great Prophecy.

Walker Scobell recently told Variety that he feels less pressure with the upcoming season, as there isn’t much to compare it to. He, along with co-stars Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri, will all be back for Season 3.

As of now, Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 4 is not officially renewed.
