A new Harry Potter project is coming to HBO Max, giving fans a magical experience before the upcoming reboot series. The original Harry Potter films were hugely popular with both audiences and critics, and are considered one of the greatest movie franchises ever made.
Because of this, no one anticipated a new installment arriving so quickly. The last film featuring Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint as Harry, Hermione, and Ron was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, released in 2011. Even though 15 years have passed, the original series is still incredibly popular and well-remembered.
Because of this, adapting Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the sequel play and book, seemed more likely than creating a completely new Harry Potter series on HBO. However, HBO decided against that approach and is now moving forward with a reboot of the original Harry Potter series. Several projects are in development to get fans ready for the premiere of the first season, based on Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, this December.
Just before the new show begins, fans can listen to the official Harry Potter podcast, which launched worldwide on HBO Max this Tuesday, May 19th. The podcast has 16 episodes, with each of the eight Harry Potter movies getting two episodes dedicated to it. Currently, the first two episodes, focusing on Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, are available.
Harry Potter: The Official Film Podcast Is Worth Watching On HBO Max
Even though it doesn’t include new video, the Harry Potter: The Official Film Podcast is a must-listen for any fan. Hosted by Rhianna Dhillon, each episode features guests and dives deep into memorable scenes from all eight Harry Potter movies. It’s a great reason to revisit the films each week and then enjoy the podcast’s insightful discussions. New episodes, about an hour long, will be released weekly.
If you’re a Harry Potter fan, the new release on HBO Max is worth watching! It’s packed with details you might have missed, interesting interpretations of familiar scenes, and behind-the-scenes stories from all eight films. The show, created by fans for fans, features a segment called “Magic Makers” where guests share fun facts and insights, adding a fresh perspective 25 years after the first movie came out.
HBO’s Plan To Prepare Audiences For The Harry Potter Reboot Series Is Interesting
With the highly anticipated return of the Harry Potter series, two releases have helped build excitement. HBO first launched Finding Harry: The Craft Behind the Magic, a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the new show. Releasing this special before the December debut was a smart move, and it proved successful. Finding Harry quickly became the most popular program on HBO Max worldwide, giving fans an inside look at everything from casting and set design to costumes and the story itself.
The project definitely sparked a lot of excitement! Now, the Harry Potter: The Official Film Podcast is here to help viewers revisit the story and get ready for what’s next. Over its 16 episodes, the podcast on HBO Max will thoroughly examine every movie in the series, offering two hours of detailed discussion for each one. If that doesn’t get fans prepared for a new Harry Potter story, nothing will!
