As a huge Harry Potter fan, I’m so excited! HBO is expanding the wizarding world, and there’s a good chance we might get season two of the show surprisingly quickly. It’s amazing news for all of us who love the books and films!
In an interview with The Times of London, HBO’s CEO Casey Bloys indicated that while the new series won’t necessarily come out every year as first thought, there’s still reason to be optimistic.
We want to keep the breaks between seasons relatively short, mainly because the child actors are growing up quickly. We won’t be releasing a new season every year—the show is just too large in scope for that. However, they are currently working on season two.
