I Will Find You, Harlan Coben’s newest miniseries, is now one of the biggest Netflix shows ever.
The show centers around David Burroughs, played by Sam Worthington, who is in prison for a murder he didn’t commit – the death of his son, Matthew. The story takes a turn when his former sister-in-law finds evidence suggesting Matthew might still be alive.
Less than a month after its release, the eight-episode series I Will Find You has become one of Netflix’s biggest hits. It reached number 10 on the streaming service’s list of all-time most popular shows, racking up 101.9 million views and a total of 558.6 million hours watched. This surpassed the previous number 10 show, His & Hers, which had 98.2 million views.
The most popular shows right now are Wednesday (seasons 1 & 2), Stranger Things (seasons 4 & 5), DAHMER: Monster — The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Bridgerton (seasons 1 & 3), Adolescence, and The Queen’s Gambit. These nine series currently rank highest in views.
I’m so thrilled to see that I Will Find You is number one on Netflix again! It really jumped back to the top spot for the week of June 20th, racking up an amazing 7.3 million views and over 40 million hours watched. It’s fantastic to see so many people enjoying it!

Robert Hull, known for his work on popular series such as Veronica Mars, Gossip Girl, Once Upon a Time, and Gotham, is the creator of I Will Find You. He also serves as an executive producer alongside Harlan Coben, Bryan Wyndbrandt, Steven Lilien, John Weber, and Brad Anderson. Hull was heavily involved in the writing process, penning or co-penning the vast majority of the episodes.
Critics generally reacted positively to I Will Find You, giving it a 63% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which is similar to the 60% score from viewers. The show quickly became popular on Netflix, reaching the number one spot and staying there for several weeks.
In 2018, Harlan Coben started working with Netflix to turn his books into TV series, and they extended their agreement in 2022. A new television series based on Harlan Coben’s popular Myron Bolitar book series – a collection of twelve novels – is now in production. The cast includes Colin Woodell, KJ Apa, Diane Guerrero, Jabari Banks, Chloe Fineman, Jamie McShane, Ben McKenzie, and Ra’Mya Latiah Aikens. David E. Kelley and Kyle Long are leading the show as showrunners, and filming has recently started in New York.
