I have to admit, even after all this time – nearly eight years since Once Upon a Time wrapped up – Storybrooke still pops into my head! It’s clear Ginnifer Goodwin hasn’t quite left that magical town behind either, and honestly, who can blame her?
The popular ABC series revolved around the people of Storybrooke, Maine, a town where magic didn’t exist. This was due to a powerful curse from The Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) that made fairytale characters forget who they really were. Ginnifer Goodwin, 47, played two roles: Snow White and Mary Margaret Blanchard, a quiet schoolteacher in Storybrooke. Mary Margaret didn’t initially realize she was actually the wife of Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) and the mother of Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison), who was destined to break the curse.
Throughout its seven seasons, the show included many beloved characters from books and Disney movies, like Captain Hook (played by Colin O’Donoghue) from Peter Pan, Maleficent (Kristin Bauer) from Sleeping Beauty, and even Elsa (Georgina Haig) and Anna (Elizabeth Lail) from Frozen. Although Ginnifer Goodwin finished her main role in Season 6, she still feels fondly about the series, which ended in 2018.
She told MovieWeb she’d jump at the chance to return to that show in any capacity. While she doesn’t have any say in whether it happens, she’s definitely interested in revisiting the project if given the opportunity.
Ginnifer Goodwin Found Her Own Fairytale Ending on ‘Once Upon a Time’

ABC
Like Snow White, Ginnifer Goodwin found her happily ever after! She fell in love with her Once Upon a Time co-star, Josh Dallas, on set in 2011. They began dating publicly in 2012 and married in April 2014. They now have two sons: Oliver Finlay, age 11, and Hugo Wilson, age 9.
The actor, 46, spoke about his partner after their first son was born, calling her “literally the greatest mother I know.” He was amazed to see her grow into such a nurturing, caring, and effortlessly cool woman, and he especially loves how great of a mom she is.
After over a decade of marriage, the couple is still happily together and continues to work on projects as a team. In 2016, Goodwin became famous for voicing Officer Judy Hopps in Disney’s Zootopia, and Dallas also contributed to the acclaimed film with a voice role as Frantic Pig – a part he’ll be reprising in the upcoming sequel.
At the premiere of Zootopia 2 in Hollywood earlier this month, Josh Dallas and Ginnifer Goodwin walked the red carpet with their sons. Goodwin looked stunning in a cream-colored dress with an off-the-shoulder design, and Dallas was sharp in a beige suit. Their sons, Oliver and Hugo, were equally stylish in matching black suits and ties, and the whole family happily posed for pictures.
Catch Zootopia 2 in movie theaters on Nov. 26.
