Forgotten X-Men Actor Still Wants To Be Back in Marvel Reboot

Marvel is beginning to reveal its plans for the X-Men, and one actor who used to be in the films has expressed interest in returning if the series gets a fresh start.

Lana Condor wants Jubilee to get her due in X-Men

Lana Condor really wants to reprise her role as Jubilee. She’s been actively campaigning for a return ever since appearing in X-Men: Apocalypse, and she’s made it clear how much the character means to her in interviews, telling Parade she’s been consistently trying to make it happen.

Condor also shared that her first time on a movie set was with this role, making it a particularly special experience. She explained how inexperienced she was at the time, admitting she didn’t even understand the basics of how film productions operated – she was just thrilled to be involved. “I’d never been on a set before, so everything was new to me, and I was just overjoyed to be there. I honestly couldn’t believe I was getting any screen time at all.”

There’s a good chance we’ll see characters like Jubilee reappear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the multiverse becoming more prominent, especially after Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, older versions of characters can now exist in different timelines. Plus, rumors indicate Marvel might completely restart the X-Men storyline after Avengers: Secret Wars, which could mean new actors taking on roles or even the return of familiar faces.

Condor feels Jubilee’s character hasn’t been fully explored and has a lot more story to offer. She’d be thrilled to revisit the role, and many fans agree that Jubilee deserves a more prominent role in films. There’s a widespread feeling that the character’s potential hasn’t been realized on screen.

Since starting her work with Marvel, Lana Condor’s acting career has really taken off. She first gained widespread recognition in the popular Netflix movies To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, and has since starred in many leading roles in both films and TV shows.
