Viewers quickly spotted a scar indicating Hunter had undergone top surgery, sparking discussion about their gender and sexuality among fans.
Fionna and Hunter shared a moment where it almost led to a kiss, but they held back because Fionna had been drinking and they didn’t want to act on it while she was impaired.
Vico Ortiz, the actor who voices Hunter in Fionna and Cake, recently confirmed on BlueSky that their character visibly has scars from top surgery, confirming Hunter is transgender.
