The new FBI spinoff, CIA, is facing another setback with the departure of its showrunner, Warren Leight. CBS has temporarily halted production while they develop a plan to move forward without him.
This is the second time the show has had to replace its showrunner. David Hudgins was originally set to lead the series, but he left in July. According to a report in Variety, Michael Weiss, the executive producer of FBI, will now take over as showrunner.
