As a die-hard Marvel fan, I’m thrilled to share that Marvel Studios has dropped a fresh sneak peek from The Fantastic Four: First Steps, entitled “Are We Safe?” This tantalizing clip hints at the ominous intentions of Galactus in the upcoming film.

The video opens with the Fantastic Four at a press conference, led by Reed Richards, portrayed by Pedro Pascal. In this scene, viewers notice the Human Torch, The Thing, and Reed himself dressed in spacesuits. Meanwhile, Sue Storm is in normal clothing, holding their son Franklin Richards, who’s visible behind her.

The journalist queries Reed about his tactics for overcoming Galactus, but Reed appears baffled by the query and instead looks towards The Thing. In response, The Thing clarifies that they hadn’t actually defeated Galactus.

Later on, Reed mentions that they had attempted to bargain with Galactus, explaining, “We made an effort to negotiate, but Galactus… his demands were excessively steep.” The reporters inquire about Galactus’s requirements, to which he replies, “He asked for our offspring.

Galactus’ appearance on Earth was signaled by his herald, Silver Surfer Shalla-Bal, who was played by Julia Garner in this instance. The Fantastic Four: First Steps synopsis characterizes Galactus as the most formidable obstacle the team has ever encountered. In the film, Galactus is portrayed by Ralph Ineson.
