A stunning Instagram reel features two Japanese artists recreating the iconic theme song “A Cruel Angel’s Thesis” with just their voices and the natural sound of an underground parking garage. They even used everyday objects like a spray bottle and water container to create the music! Japan is using special tiles that turn footsteps into electricity. These tiles capture the energy from each step you take. When someone walks on them, the pressure causes the tiles to bend slightly. Inside the tiles, a material called piezoelectric converts this bending motion into electrical power.
