Who is Star Wars’ Embo in The Mandalorian and Grogu?

Embo is a Kyuzo bounty hunter from the planet Phatrong who worked during the Clone Wars. He’s known for his bowcaster and a unique, large-brimmed hat that he uses for both offense and defense. He first appeared in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series, and was voiced by Dave Filoni.

During the Clone Wars, Embo worked with Sugi’s group of bounty hunters and eventually took assignments from the Hutt Clan. He battled Darth Maul and Savage Opress, became part of Boba Fett’s team called Krayt’s Claw, and even participated in the kidnapping of Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Embo once fought Anakin Skywalker to a draw and, for a time, earned more bounties than anyone except Cad Bane.
