Dr. Stone Science Future Part 3 Release Date Set for Spring Return

A release date has been announced for the next part of Dr. Stone Science Future. The anime’s third part will be available very soon, and Crunchyroll will stream it at the same time it airs in Japan, allowing fans worldwide to watch it as it’s released.

Dr. Stone Science Future Part 3 gets April release date and time

The creators of Dr. Stone have announced the premiere date for the third season, “Dr. Stone: Science Future Cour 3.” It will begin airing in Japan on April 2, 2026, at 10:00 PM JST. Fans around the world can watch each new episode on Crunchyroll as it becomes available, continuing the show’s simulcast release.

Before the series premieres on TV, there will be a special preview event on March 21st at TOHO Cinemas Hibiya. The first three episodes will be shown, and voice actors Yusuke Kobayashi (Senku) and Ryota Suzuki (Ryusei) will be there. To reach even more fans, the event will also be livestreamed at five other theaters across Japan.

This anime is based on a manga created by Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi. The original manga series was published in Weekly Shonen Jump for five years, from March 2017 to March 2022, and was eventually collected into 27 volumes.

VIZ Media has released the English dub of the series. Shuhei Matsushita returns as director at TMS Entertainment, with Kurasumi Sunayama handling the series’ composition. Yuko Iwasa is the character designer, and the music is composed by Tatsuya Kato, Hiroaki Tsutsumi, and Yukihiro Kanesaka.

Thousands of years after a strange event petrified all of humankind, a brilliant and scientifically-minded young man named Senku Ishigami awakens. He then dedicates himself to restoring civilization using the power of science, and begins by reviving his friend from childhood, Taiju Oki.

You can watch every season of the anime on Crunchyroll, including Science Future, which started in 2025. Science Future is split into three parts, and the third part will conclude the anime’s overall story. Fans can anticipate a thrilling finale that brings together everything that’s been built throughout the series, including its complex world and scientific themes.
