Despite his successful enactment of a law in the UK, he finds that it has merely shifted the problem towards illegal activities. Throughout the documentary, we join Dr. Abraham as he collaborates with fellow animal rescuers and discovers how the United States continues to overlook these issues. We accompany him on his travels through states without regulations, gaining insight into the appalling conditions these animals are forced to endure.

This powerful documentary shines a harsh light on the distressing conditions faced by dogs in breeding farms worldwide. It explores initial efforts made in certain countries and regions, but truly packs a punch when revealing heart-wrenching tales and shocking accounts from eyewitnesses. The purpose is to stir emotions and drive change, which is why it doesn’t pull any punches. Additionally, the documentary features governments advocating for a straightforward bill that would improve dogs’ lives.
Worst Parts
The most troubling aspect isn’t the filmmaker’s work, rather it’s distressing for any dog lover to watch without feeling irritated. I understand that this is an integral part of the documentary, but seeing our beloved pets treated in such a manner is appalling. To put it simply, we wouldn’t subject a human to similar conditions for infants; so why should dogs be treated differently?
Final Thoughts – Dogspiracy is hard-hitting, shocking and disturbing.
