Two years after its first season premiered, Disney+ has announced exciting news about the future of its popular Korean superhero show, Moving.
I’m so excited! I just read in Variety that filming has started for Moving season 2! All our favorites – Ryu Seungryong, Han Hyojoo, Zo Insung, and Go Younjung – are coming back, and they’ve added Won Gyubin to the cast too! I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Kim Seong-hun, the director behind popular Korean dramas and shows like A Hard Day, The Tunnel, Ransomed, Kingdom, and Kingdom: Ashin of the North, will direct the second season of Moving. Kang Full is returning to write the screenplay.
Kang Full, the creator of Moving, stated his aim for the first season was to set a new standard for Korean superhero stories. For season two, he plans to surpass that initial goal and make the series even more outstanding. Moving is adapted from Kang’s original 2015 webtoon.
Carol Choi, a leader at Disney overseeing original content in the Asia-Pacific region, noted that the popularity of Moving demonstrates the global appeal of Korean stories. As they begin planning the second season, she and her team aim to capitalize on this success and broaden the show’s scope for viewers worldwide.
