Two live-action Batman movies are currently in development. The first, The Batman: Part II, is expected to bring Robert Pattinson back as Batman in late 2027. The second, The Brave and the Bold, will officially introduce a new Batman within the DC Universe, following a brief appearance in Creature Commandos. While updates on The Brave and the Bold have been scarce since its announcement in early 2023, the project has recently moved forward, reassuring fans who were beginning to doubt its progress.
According to The Insneider, Christina Hodson is writing The Brave and the Bold movie. While it’s unknown how much of the script is finished, a source at The Hollywood Reporter says she’s been working on it since at least last fall. Another insider mentioned that it will likely take some time before Hodson delivers a final draft, as DC Studios is carefully planning the movie’s development.
