The second season of Marvel’s Daredevil: Born Again arrives on Disney+ next month. This new season continues the story from the original Netflix series, with Charlie Cox returning as Daredevil and Vincent D’Onofrio back as Kingpin.
The new series, Daredevil: Born Again, is led by showrunner Dario Scardapane and produced by a team including Kevin Feige and Louis D’Esposito. The show stars Charlie Cox as Daredevil (Matt Murdock), Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin (Wilson Fisk), and features returning cast members Jon Bernthal as Punisher (Frank Castle), Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, and Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk. New to the cast are Margarita Levieva, Genneya Walton, Nikki M. James, Clark Johnson, and Michael Gandolfini.
Season 2 will feature Lili Taylor, known from The Conjuring, as the Governor of New York, and Matthew Lillard, of Five Nights at Freddy’s fame, as a new character named Mr. Charles. According to producers, Mr. Charles will be a major new adversary for Wilson Fisk, possessing a similar level of power and influence. Plus, before Season 2 even begins, the show has been renewed for a third season!
