The reality show The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives had a particularly dramatic third season in 2025. Now, while viewers wait for the reunion episode, cast member Jessi Draper Ngatikaura has made a shocking accusation against her co-star, Demi Engemann: she claims Demi’s husband, Brett, drank her urine. Demi has since responded to the claim on social media.
On Tuesday, November 25th, Ngatikaura (33) made a shocking claim in a video posted to her Instagram story. According to E! News, she accused Bret Engemann (30) of having a disturbing habit – drinking her urine, comparing it to dirty soda and saying he drinks it like water. This accusation followed an argument between Ngatikaura and Engemann about Lisa Vanderpump and Marciano Brunette, both associated with the show Vanderpump Villa.
In regard to the pee claim, Demi Engemann took to her own Instagram story to share a response. Although Engemann took offense to the comments being shared, she seemed to confirm that Brett did indeed drink her pee at least once:
My husband and I shared a private, consensual moment in our marriage. I refuse to allow this personal matter to overshadow a separate, serious incident that occurred without my consent.
Stars on SLOMW often confide in one another, and it seems Engemann wished this particular detail had stayed private. She later criticized Nagatikaura for revealing personal information about her and her husband’s private life.
I told Jessi this privately almost two years ago. It’s revealing that she’s bringing it up now, especially after her own affair became public. It seems like she’s trying to distract from her own actions.
The TikTok influencer was talking about a reported relationship between Jessi Ngatikaura and Marciano Brunette, age 32. Sources say they had an emotional connection while filming a crossover episode between Vanderpump Villa and Secret Lives. At the same time, Demi Engemann publicly accused Brunette of sexual misconduct, but he has denied the allegations.
The recent controversies, like the one involving a urine-related incident, are a big reason why Sister Wives is so addictive, and the show has quickly gained a large audience since it first aired in late 2024. Even Mila Kunis was excited when her husband, Ashton Kutcher, arranged a video call with the cast! The show’s influence is clearly growing, as cast member Taylor Frankie Paul is set to star as the lead in Season 26 of The Bachelorette, which is scheduled to air in 2026.
Fans are still curious about the alleged incident involving the Engemanns and whether it will be addressed on the show. Now that Demi has confirmed what happened, everyone is wondering if Jessi Draper Ngatikaura will respond. For now, fans will have to wait to see what happens next.
Season 3 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives wraps up with a reunion special on December 4th. If you want to watch, you’ll need a Hulu subscription.
