Chris Hemsworth is returning as Thor in the upcoming movie, Avengers: Doomsday, but he had to negotiate with one of his fellow actors to make it happen.
Chris Hemsworth’s actual daughter, India Rose Hemsworth, returns as Thor’s adopted daughter in the latest film. However, Chris shared on The View that she wasn’t thrilled about being on set this time. He described her walking in and immediately asking how much longer the filming would take, exhibiting a typical teenage attitude.
He explained that he ultimately had to offer her a bribe to get her to come to the set. She initially refused, questioning why she should participate without pay. He clarified that she was being paid, but the money was held in trust until she turned eighteen. There was also some discussion about whether they could afford the motorcycle she wanted. “Eventually, after some negotiation, she agreed,” Hemsworth said.
I was chatting with Bart Layton, the director of Chris Hemsworth’s new film, Crime 101 – it hits theaters this Friday! – and he playfully said, “Like father, like daughter,” after something came up. It was a cute moment!
