Rumors suggest Ryan Reynolds, known for playing Deadpool, is working on a movie that would bring together a team of mutants within the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s upcoming storyline. He was found guilty on two charges related to transporting individuals for the purpose of prostitution (under the Mann Act), but he was cleared of the more severe accusations of racketeering and sex trafficking. Deadline reports that prosecutors are now seeking an 11-year prison sentence for the Sean John founder. They are also requesting that the music mogul pay a substantial fine, amounting to six figures. Fans concerned about Welliver being replaced as Bosch can rest easy, as he will continue to play Harry Bosch in the current timeline of the upcoming season. However, the new episodes will focus more on the time jumps in the cases Renee Ballard handles within the LAPD cold case unit, and that necessitates some flashbacks to develop the narrative fully. According to CBR, this is where Meade-Mullarkey comes in, playing Bosch during years not yet explored in the TV series.

I was really disappointed to hear that Mid-Century Modern got canceled by Hulu. It’s a shame, especially since I was enjoying the show and its fantastic cast – Lane, Matt Bomer, Nathan Lee Graham, and the wonderful, late Linda Lavin. It only had one season, starting in March 2025, which is a real bummer. I remember hearing some buzz before the show even came out. And the guest stars! They had some great ones, like Pamela Adlon (King of the Hill), Richard Kind, Rhea Perlman, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and Cheri Oteri. It’s always sad when a show with so much potential doesn’t get a chance to shine.
