Although the planned *Gambit* movie never happened, Channing Tatum finally got to play Remy LeBeau in *Deadpool & Wolverine* last year, and he’ll return to the role in *Avengers: Doomsday* in 2026. While promoting his new film, *Roofman*, currently in theaters, Tatum was asked by Variety if Marvel Studios might reconsider making a *Gambit* movie. He responded with a knowing smile, saying:

Yu Yu Hakusho was a groundbreaking anime that helped define the shonen genre, setting many trends that later series followed. Creators of popular anime like Naruto, Black Clover, and Jujutsu Kaisen have all acknowledged being directly inspired by Yu Yu Hakusho, highlighting its lasting influence as Yoshihiro Togashi’s first major work. Although Bleach is largely original with its own unique powers and world, there are significant similarities to Yu Yu Hakusho. We’ve analyzed the storylines of both shows, arc by arc, to show how Bleach appears to have borrowed from Yu Yu Hakusho.

Sigourney Weaver shared at New York Comic Con on October 10, 2025 (as reported by *The Hollywood Reporter*) that there’s a potential new story for her character, Ellen Ripley, in the *Alien* universe. According to Weaver, producer Walter Hill has already written 50 pages for it. She also mentioned having discussed the possibility with Disney and 20th Century Studios, but didn’t share details. Weaver suggested the story might involve someone – possibly the Weyland-Yutani corporation – attempting to silence Ripley after she revealed the danger of the Xenomorphs.

Despite rumors that Jim Caviezel would reprise his role as Jesus, and Monica Bellucci return as Mary Magdalene, Page Six reports that the film will feature a new cast. Production is scheduled to begin soon in Rome, according to a source.

In New York City, Alex and Tess Novak go to a dinner party hosted by close friends. Though they appear happy and connected, everyone senses a hidden tension. After the party, Alex walks Tess to the train, nearly joining her on the ride before realizing he can’t. As the train departs, he’s left feeling downcast. Wandering through the West Village, Alex stumbles upon a small comedy club with an open-mic night. He signs up to perform, hoping to get in for free instead of paying the entrance fee.

Fans frequently debate who would be the best actor to play Batman’s famous villains. Several actors, like Heath Ledger and Colin Farrell, have already delivered memorable performances. Interestingly, another well-known actor almost had the chance to add a villainous role to their career.

Invincible, a show based on the popular comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, first appeared on Prime Video in 2021. The show’s second season was released in two parts – the first in 2023 and the second in 2024 – and the third season premiered in 2025.

The new thriller series, *Vanished*, starring Kaley Cuoco and Sam Claflin (known for *Enola Holmes*), will debut on MGM+ in February 2026. Created by David Hilton and Preston Thompson (who also wrote *Pixie*), the series has generated excitement from Michael Wright, head of MGM+, who is pleased to add it to their streaming lineup.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were key to making this project happen – he as a producer and she as the star. Beyond performing, Jennifer Lopez also supported her fellow actors while preparing for the musical numbers in *Kiss of the Spider Woman*. Despite this terrifying role, he’s said to speak in a surprisingly comical and exaggerated way, contrasting with his otherwise calm and self-assured personality.
