F. Murray Abraham is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to reprise his role as Khonshu in the upcoming animated series, Marvel Zombies. Marvel Studios announced that this will be his second appearance in the MCU, following his debut as the Egyptian god in the 2022 series Moon Knight.
I’m really excited about all the new stuff coming to Disney+! They’ve got this cool-sounding show called *The Balloonist*, plus more episodes of *Wizards Beyond Waverly Place*, which I loved! There’s also *Electric Bloom*, a new series made for teens, a *Frozen* LEGO special that my little sibling will probably adore, and the last season of *Solar Opposites*, which is always hilarious.
It was surprising to see Universal Studios Hollywood mentioned in tributes to Robert Redford, but then I realized it *is* a working film studio where he filmed movies. John Murdy, the creative director for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal, shared a story on Twitter about seeing Redford at the park every day while one of his favorite films was being made. I just got a sneak peek at the plans for the next big expansion, internally called ‘Project Sun,’ and it’s going to be amazing. The first reports about who might play Kratos in the upcoming Prime Video God of War series came from YouTuber and critic John Campea. He shared a list of potential actors, though he admitted some were intentionally misleading and wouldn’t say which ones. Included on the list was Christopher Judge, who *was* Kratos – providing both the voice and motion capture – in the popular games God of War (2018) and God of War: Ragnarok. Judge responded to the rumors on X (formerly Twitter) with a playful: “I am??? 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️❤️”
I’m really curious to know what arguments he used to get people on board with this project. Having Leonardo DiCaprio attached definitely helped – he’s a huge star and a reliable draw for audiences. However, his role in *One Battle After Another* is quite a departure from his usual image. He plays a down-and-out former revolutionary, struggling with depression, alcohol, and other issues, and he spends most of the movie looking disheveled and unlike his typically handsome self. This isn’t the glamorous Leo we saw in *Titanic*; it’s a very different kind of role and a very different film.

I have to say, Josh Duhamel really shines in his latest film. “London Calling,” directed by Allan Ungar, is a fun mix of action, crime, and comedy. The script, a collaborative effort from Ungar, Levin Menekse, and Quinn Wolfe, introduces us to Tommy Ward, a hitman played by Duhamel, who’s… let’s just say not having his best day. He messes up a hit right at the start in London, and that one mistake pretty much sets the stage for everything that follows. It’s a great vehicle for Duhamel to show off what he can do.
