In a recent interview with IGN, Jesse Wigutow, the writer of Daredevil: Born Again, revealed that the show almost included a low-budget episode focusing on Echo and The Punisher. For viewers who may not know, a “bottle episode” is a TV episode made with a small budget and limited characters.

I recently had the chance to visit what’s been named “America’s Best Theme Park” for their first-ever Fan Fest and to see how construction is going on their new resort-which they revealed plans for last year. By the end of the weekend, I knew I needed to take my kids on at least one of the park’s top roller coasters. When asked if the film would move forward or potentially become an HBO series, Gunn simply stated, “Who knows?” It seems DC Studios is prioritizing well-known heroes like Batman and Wonder Woman, rather than The Authority. Gunn explained, “I’m probably not going to do certain movies with characters who (audiences) don’t know; it’s harder to get people in the theater for that kind of thing.”
