Before I get into a review of the first episode of *9-1-1: Nashville*, I want to say I might be more critical than some other reviewers. I grew up near Nashville and still live close by, so I know the city well. I’ve watched it change over the years, spent way too much time in its traffic, and even developed a tolerance for spicy chicken! Because I care about how the show portrays Nashville and its unique character, I might be a little tough in my assessment. I apologize in advance if my review seems overly critical.

Prime Video has decided not to renew either *Countdown* or *Butterfly* for a second season, according to reports. *Countdown*, which premiered in June 2025, starred Jensen Ackles, known for his roles in *Supernatural* and *The Boys*. *Butterfly*, starring Kim, debuted in August. Kim is famous for his work on the TV series *Lost*. Both shows were produced by Amazon MGM Studios.

With so many games to choose from, deciding what to play can be tough. While your subscription gives you access to hundreds of titles, here are three excellent choices for this weekend: the first game in a popular samurai series (a sequel just came out!), the last installment in a well-known first-person shooter franchise (with a new release today!), and a spooky game added to the free monthly selection.

The upcoming Disney+ series *Wonder Man* will add Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Williams is an actor and stuntman who develops superpowers. Although originally planned for a December 2025 release, the show’s schedule has recently been adjusted, and the new release date is currently unknown. Details about the plot are still being kept secret.

These movies are generally excellent, and any fan of 1990s film should definitely watch them. However, it’s likely most ’90s movie buffs have already seen them! As time passes, a huge number of older films tend to get reduced to just a few widely recognized classics.

Raúl Castillo is joining Season 3 of *The Walking Dead: Dead City* as a main character named Luis. AMC hasn’t revealed any details about Luis or how he’ll interact with Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). This casting news follows the announcement about three weeks ago. Additionally, has been cast as Renata, a charismatic and optimistic leader who easily attracts followers.

I just finished watching *Maintenance Required*, and even though it’s a new movie, it felt surprisingly familiar! As a total rom-com fanatic, I kept spotting nods to classics. There’s a direct quote from *Notting Hill*, and honestly, the whole vibe reminded me a lot of *You’ve Got Mail* – you can definitely see the similarities. I was curious if there were more hidden references, so I actually asked Petsch about it (check out the video above!). She pointed out one I totally missed, and it was pretty cool!

When people talk about horror anthology series, *Tales From the Crypt* and *Creepshow* usually come to mind first, but honestly, there have been so many others that have really kept the genre alive on TV. And one of the very best, especially as a fan, is another series from Mike Flanagan. It’s brilliant because each episode feels like its own contained story, but they all build into this bigger, connected narrative, and it’s based on the work of a true master of horror. Even though it’s only been out for a couple of years, Netflix’s series continues to impress me – it’s just a perfectly crafted story and makes for a seriously spooky and addictive weekend watch.
