Released in 1983, *Deathstalker* features Rick Hill as the hero tasked by a witch with finding a chalice, amulet, and sword. An evil wizard holds two of these items. The film’s success is easy to understand, and it became a modest hit, earning $11.9 million worldwide despite only costing $457,000 to make. Financed by low-budget film expert Roger Corman, *Deathstalker* went on to generate three sequels between 1987 and 1991.

One of the strongest parts of the movie is Evan Peters’ portrayal of Julian Dillinger, a tech mogul and the grandson of the original *TRON* villain, Edward “Ed” Dillinger, Sr. Like his grandfather, Julian serves as the film’s main antagonist. He’s a brilliant innovator who has built his own digital world, separate from the one in the original *TRON*. Peters’ performance is so compelling that he’s quickly become a benchmark for sci-fi villains.

The series successfully draws viewers into the experiences of those interviewed and creates a chilling atmosphere through its reenactments, effectively placing them in a truly frightening situation. Unlike the problematic focus on the perpetrator in *Monster: The Ed Gein Story*, *True Haunting* focuses on supporting the victims. Though not flawless, horror fans would be better off watching *True Haunting* instead of *Monster*.

Five-time Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss recently surprised fans at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights. She appeared as a scareactor, playing into the unsettling storyline she shared with the Wyatt Family in WWE. Universal Studios released video of Bliss hiding in the fog and frightening guests, fully embodying the creepy character she portrayed on television.

According to sources, New Line Cinema is moving forward with *Mortal Kombat III*, bringing back Jeremy Slater to write the screenplay. The announcement was made at New York Comic Con, and Warner Bros. is optimistic about the next installment in the series. The delay of *Mortal Kombat II* – pushed from October 2025 to May 2026 – allowed the studio time for evaluation, and the film’s teaser trailer was a huge success, garnering over 107 million views worldwide in just one day.

Similar to the upcoming HBO television series based on *Harry Potter*, the *Twilight* saga is getting a fresh start. Netflix will adapt Stephenie Meyer’s popular vampire romance into an animated series, drawing its story from her 2020 novel, *Midnight Sun*. This book retells the original *Twilight* story from Edward Cullen’s perspective. Meyer will be involved as an executive producer, and the series is expected to debut around 2026. Although not all *Twilight* fans are excited about this reboot, it’s a good moment to reflect on the franchise’s impressive success and how it quickly gained a dedicated following.

It’s highly probable that Prince Loki’s Devil Fruit is the key to his growing importance in the *One Piece* story, especially as the Elbaph Arc unfolds. While we don’t know the full extent of its power yet, fans believe it will be significant, considering both Loki’s strength and the legendary Rocks Pirates’ interest in it. Rocks wouldn’t be impressed by a weak Devil Fruit, and a powerful warrior like Loki deserves something truly extraordinary. Ultimately, revealing the fruit’s abilities and how Loki uses them will likely cause the Five Elders even more concern than Luffy’s actions.

I was a little sad to hear, but Variety confirmed that Season 4 of Yellowjackets will be the last one. The writers are already working on it, knowing they need to wrap everything up. It sounds like we’ll be able to watch it sometime in 2026. Ashley Lyle and Bart Nickerson, the creators of the show, released a statement after the news broke, and it definitely feels like they’re committed to giving us a great finale.
