The latest episode of NCIS Season 23 recently aired. This week, the team investigated a U.S. marine suspected of kidnapping the wife of a Justice Department official. It turned out the marine was actually helping the woman escape an abusive relationship, having hidden her with a support group for women in similar situations.
The movie’s story actually began in a different place. TopMob spoke with director Dan Trachtenberg, known for Predator: Badlands and Prey, as well as co-directing Killer of Killers. He shared the unexpected beginnings of the film, revealing that it nearly took place during World War II with Nazis as part of the plot.

The Wachowskis not only had a hugely ambitious idea, but they brought it to life flawlessly in every scene. With a different director, the movie could have gotten lost in confusing details and complicated backstory. Instead, thanks to the Wachowskis, it feels like a powerful statement delivered with incredible special effects.
For over a decade, the Arrowverse kept DC Comics visible in popular culture, giving the film side time to rebuild its audience. The Arrowverse concluded in December 2024 after twelve years.
