Director Dan Trachtenberg recalls a dinner with James Cameron while preparing for his film Badlands in New Zealand. Trachtenberg had just finished an eight-hour drive to visit Cameron on the set of the new Avatar: Fire and Ash. I’m seeing that Adidas and Pokémon are working together again! They first collaborated back in 2020, and this time it’s to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise with a new line of sneakers. Director Paul Michael Glaser recently explained to SFX Magazine (via GamesRadar+) that the story of Ben Richards in The Running Man is more grounded and relatable than typical action heroes. He feels the film’s focus on realism, by removing overly fantastical elements, makes it less about seeking fame and more believable.
