Interestingly, in 2010 – the year Timothy Olyphant started playing Raylan Givens in FX’s excellent adaptation of Elmore Leonard’s work – he also returned to playing a lawman in a leading movie role. His powerful performance as Sheriff David Dutten in the remake of The Crazies remains one of the few times he’s been the central figure in a film. And he delivered brilliantly, helping to make the movie a standout modern horror classic – ruthless, efficient, and eerily ahead of its time.

Despite previous obstacles, fans are still eager to see a continuation of the story focusing on Ben Solo. Rian Johnson, the director of the controversial Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017), recently shared with Collider that he’s now open to the possibility.

Predator: Badlands #1, a comic book created with director Dan Trachtenberg, is written by Ethan Sacks and features artwork by Elvin Ching and Orin Junior. The story follows Dek, a young Predator hoping to prove himself as a skilled hunter. He faces a challenge not only from the trials ahead, but also from his own father, who doesn’t believe he’s worthy of a proper hunt.

It’s debatable whether fans of Stephen King should watch the 2022 remake of Firestarter, produced by the low-budget horror studio Blumhouse. The film received very poor reviews when it was released, currently holding a 10% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Interestingly, the original Firestarter movie wasn’t much better with critics, earning a ‘rotten’ score of 40% on the same website.

Eddie Murphy, who previously acted with Steve Martin in the 1999 film Bowfinger, discussed his approach to playing the iconic Inspector Clouseau in the new movie. He said he didn’t ask Martin for advice, but is excited to bring his own unique take to the role.

Johnson said hearing director Christopher Nolan praise his performance as the former fighter was the most inspiring moment of his life. Nolan called the portrayal “heartbreaking” during a screening in Los Angeles, with director Benny Safdie and other fans present. Johnson recalled squeezing his wife’s hand so tightly she squeezed back.

The sequel to Solo Leveling, titled Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, is temporarily pausing new episodes. Publisher D&C Comics announced on X (formerly Twitter) that releases will be on hold starting November 13th and 20th. They plan to resume with Episode 63 on November 26th at 10:00 PM. This pause is to allow for internal reorganization of the production process.

Okay, so the new teaser is everything. It starts with Miranda, looking totally powerful, walking through the office to Madonna’s ‘Vogue’ – seriously, the click-clack of those red heels is instantly iconic. Then, just as she’s about to get in the elevator, Andy saves the day, smoothly stepping in between the doors. Miranda gives her that classic, cool once-over and deadpans, “Took you long enough.” But then, Andy’s face lights up with a huge grin, and you can just see Miranda give a tiny, satisfied smirk. It’s such a great moment – you can really feel their dynamic!

The new movie brings back most of the original cast, featuring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. David Frankel, who directed the first film, and writer Aline Brosh McKenna have also returned.

Details about the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day are still scarce, but fans are excited about the potential team-ups with heroes like the Punisher and Hulk.
