The movie, released in theaters in July, remained popular on the streaming service’s daily top 10 list in the U.S. this week, reaching number five on December 15th, according to FlixPatrol. While it’s no longer among the most popular movies in the U.S. as of December 16th, Guns Up is still performing well internationally. It currently ranks sixth on Amazon Prime’s top 10 lists in both the Dominican Republic and Guatemala, and has climbed to fourth place in Uruguay.

The 1982 film 48 Hrs. was a turning point for Eddie Murphy, launching his career from Saturday Night Live into the movies. It was a critical success, with reviewers particularly enjoying the comedic pairing of Murphy and Nick Nolte. Over four decades later, it’s still considered one of the most hilarious comedies of the 1980s and remains a standout performance for Murphy.

Early reviews are in, and The Housemaid is currently scoring 79% on Rotten Tomatoes based on 42 reviews. Despite the fact that more reviews are still being added, it’s already the highest-rated film of 2025 starring Sweeney, who has had a challenging year.
