It was so popular, in fact, that three famous actors were considered for the role of Frank Grimes, a one-time character who quickly became a fan favorite. Frank, nicknamed “Grimey,” has become a legendary part of the show’s history. His introduction and the way his story unfolded were initially quite controversial, but ultimately proved important to The Simpsons‘ enduring legacy.

The unbelievable true story of a man in Manchester feels like it belongs on the big screen. The film, “Roofman,” is directed by Derek Cianfrance, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Kirt Gunn. Channing Tatum stars as Jeffrey Lancaster, introduced while pulling off a successful robbery at a McDonald’s.
