Having the creator of Love, Death + Robots involved was a big win for Prime Video’s new series. Tim Miller, who made LD+R, moved to Prime Video to develop an anthology series similar to his hit Netflix show, aiming for the same level of quality and ambition. The series featured both adaptations and original stories based on popular and classic video games – including one that wasn’t so successful. Notably, many of these games were being adapted into visual media for the very first time, and the show established a high standard for future adaptations in the works.

Last season, viewers watched Dana struggle to cope with the increasing chaos in the emergency room, and it became obvious she was reaching her breaking point. Throughout the season, it was unclear if she would return to Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center after her last shift. But when season 2 of The Pitt began, Dana was surprisingly back at work.

Nintendo announced on X (formerly Twitter) that their upcoming presentation will be entirely about the Super Mario Bros. Movie and won’t include any news about new games.

The sci-fi series Silo debuted on Apple TV in 2023, with its second season airing from November 2024 to January 2025. Adapted from Hugh Howey’s dystopian book series, the show centers on Juliette, an engineer who lives in an underground silo to escape a poisoned world. As she investigates the truth about humanity’s past, she uncovers shocking secrets. Silo quickly became popular, and fans were eagerly anticipating Juliette’s next chapter.

Caleb Mir is facing a difficult end to the school year at Starfleet Academy. He doesn’t have a home to return to for the break and is still searching for his mother, Anisha Mir (played by Tatiana Maslany). However, things start to change when Series Acclimation Mil, or SAM (Kerrice Brooks), helps Caleb access hidden messages from his mom. These messages, which have been hidden for three years, reveal Anisha’s location on the planet Ukeck.

The Mandalorian and Grogu are coming to U.S. theaters in May! This new movie, directed by Jon Favreau, continues the story from the Disney+ series, with Pedro Pascal returning as Din Djarin. Jeremy Allen White, known for The Bear, provides the voice for the character Rotta the Hutt.

There was a lot of anticipation for Requiem, as it’s the first game in nearly 30 years to return to Raccoon City, and it didn’t disappoint. RE9 delivers a moving story, introducing a compelling new female lead and revealing previously unseen sides of Leon Kennedy. The game features two possible endings, though only one is officially considered the true conclusion.

Just six days after Dana Gonzales – the executive producer and director of four episodes from Season 1 of Alien: Earth, who also handled cinematography for the first episode – announced on Instagram that work on Season 2 had started, a photo has confirmed the production is moving from Thailand to Pinewood Studios in London. Pinewood has a long history with the Alien franchise, having been used to film Alien, Aliens, Alien 3, and Prometheus. Gonzales shared their excitement, stating they were beginning the journey of building the world of Alien: Earth in the very place where the Alien universe began.

Alan Ritchson’s character, a strict drill sergeant identified only as 81, is still shrouded in mystery after the first War Machine film. However, Ritchson, who also stars as Reacher, has hinted that we might learn more about him in War Machine 2 and any future installments.

Filming started in Prague, Czech Republic in late February, and photos from the set quickly appeared online. Published by Blesk (see them here), the images offer a first look at Martin Scorsese’s new film. Leonardo DiCaprio sports a noticeably different appearance – including a thick mustache, dark glasses, and what seems to be a fake stomach – as he plays the main character in What Happens at Night. Jennifer Lawrence will co-star as his wife.
