In a recent interview with Deadline, the creators of Stranger Things, the Duffer brothers, discussed the plans for the second part of Season 5. They revealed that while the first part of the season introduced major plot twists, the second part will focus on exploring Will Byers’s connection to the Upside Down and how it ties everything – and everyone – together, ultimately bringing the show’s overall story to a conclusion. Matt Duffer explained:

Next summer, audiences will be able to see the new Supergirl movie in US theaters. Starring Milly Alcock as Supergirl and Matthias Schoenaerts as Krem of the Yellow Hills, the film is directed by Craig Gillespie.

Danielle Fishel recently honored the late wrestler Big Van Vader (also known as Vader) by wearing a T-shirt featuring his image at Survivor Series. Fans of the show Boy Meets World will recall that Vader – whose real name was Leon White – made a few appearances on the sitcom years ago. In the fourth episode of Stranger Things Season 5, titled “Chapter Four: Sorcerer,” Hopper and Eleven are traveling to a military base located within the Upside Down. They entered this alternate dimension in the episodes leading up to this one.

While ‘Welcome to Derry’ has delivered many frightening scenes, the most disturbing moment so far didn’t involve Pennywise at all. In the final moments of episode 6, a group of white residents, upon learning that Air Force soldiers are hiding escaped convict Hank Grogan at a nearby speakeasy, immediately arm themselves with guns.

As a huge Agatha Christie fan, I was excited to see both Death on the Nile (2022) and A Haunting in Venice (2023) finally hit Prime Video. While they didn’t do so well in theaters, I think anyone who loves her stories will still want to check these adaptations out.

Even though Steve Rogers is no longer actively appearing as Captain America, he could still return in future Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) films. Things like time travel and the multiverse offer ways to bring him back in a younger form. While this is supposedly a key part of the plot for Avengers: Doomsday, Captain America is also appearing in a new Spider-Man animated series, which lets younger fans enjoy his adventures and leaves the door open for a potential comeback in the MCU.
