The upcoming film The Bride!, a new take on Bride of Frankenstein with Jessie Buckley and Christian Bale, will be the first Warner Bros. movie released after Paramount Skydance unexpectedly won the bid to buy the studio in late February. Although the merger between Warner Bros. and Paramount Skydance hasn’t been finalized yet, it’s predicted to happen within the next year and a half.

Like Heated Rivalry, a new adaptation is coming soon, starring the actor who first gained fame in Bridgerton, and it also focuses on the popular “enemies to lovers” theme.

This March, The Madison is debuting on Paramount+ with only a few episodes, a strategy quite different from the highly anticipated Yellowstone spin-off Marshals, which premiered on CBS. Marshals has over twice as many episodes and will air weekly until the end of May. It raises the question: will audiences prefer the shorter, focused The Madison, or the longer, more consistent run of Marshals?
The second season of Seth MacFarlane’s Ted TV series is now available on Peacock, following a two-year wait after the first season. Set in 1994, this season centers on Ted and John Bennett during his final year of high school. John is navigating the usual teenage experiences – trying to find a girlfriend and figuring out what it means to grow up. The show blends realistic coming-of-age stories with more imaginative, fantastical adventures for John and his talking teddy bear, Ted.
According to FlixPatrol, John Wick: Chapter 4 rose to the #2 spot on HBO Max’s list of the most popular movies in the U.S. as of March 7, 2026. It had debuted at #3 just two days earlier, on March 5. The only movie performing better at that time was Dead of Winter. Remarkably, John Wick 4 was beating out newer releases, even though it had been out for years – including If I Had Legs I’d Kick You from A24 at #7 and the Neon documentary 2073 at #10.
Cyberpunk hasn’t appeared much on TV, mostly because creating a high-quality series is incredibly expensive. Considering a film like Blade Runner 2049 cost over $185 million in 2017, you can imagine how much a modern TV show would cost. Fortunately, companies like Netflix and Apple are investing in the genre, and early results are promising.
