McGinley, and Lauren Tsai. It’s hilarious watching their father-daughter relationship unfold amidst all the quirky faculty, students, and campus craziness.
These dramas are popular for a good reason: they effectively bring important school issues to light and show their consequences. While these problems aren’t exclusive to Korea, and the shows don’t always perfectly reflect Korean classrooms, they offer a valuable perspective for understanding these challenges.
The upcoming film The Bride!, a new take on Bride of Frankenstein with Jessie Buckley and Christian Bale, will be the first Warner Bros. movie released after Paramount Skydance unexpectedly won the bid to buy the studio in late February. Although the merger between Warner Bros. and Paramount Skydance hasn’t been finalized yet, it’s predicted to happen within the next year and a half.
