The time travel in Outlander allows for incredibly compelling love stories. We’re immediately drawn in by Claire’s experience of being thrown into an unfamiliar time, and that sense of displacement is revisited when her daughter, Brianna, travels back in time with Roger. However, Outlander‘s prequel, Blood of My Blood, doesn’t quite live up to the original. It feels hesitant, perhaps due to time or a desire to avoid repeating storylines, and lacks some of the key elements that made Outlander so captivating.

Disney+ has announced six new movies and series coming out before the end of 2025. While the studio is already looking ahead to a big 2026, they’re finishing strong this year with projects from popular franchises like Star Wars, as well as stories featuring beloved Disney characters and heroes.

Mark Wahlberg, who plays Danny Reagan on the show, mentioned to Parade that he’d always hoped Tom Selleck would appear on Boston Blue. Wahlberg explained that he spoke with Selleck before committing to the series, and that Selleck was very encouraging, though he didn’t share specifics of their conversations.

The movie The Shining invites endless interpretation, and a particularly intriguing idea suggests the Overlook Hotel isn’t just haunted—it is a form of Hell. If true, this changes how we see the entire film. Instead of being a story about a man’s mental collapse, it becomes a depiction of a soul’s journey into damnation. This means Jack Torrance isn’t simply losing his mind; he’s a cursed individual trapped in a cycle of eternal punishment, much like in Dante’s Inferno.

After Blue Bloods was canceled, Tom Selleck publicly expressed his desire to continue the show and even suggested a possible solution. However, instead of Blue Bloods continuing, his on-screen son, Donnie Wahlberg, got a spin-off series. Reports claimed Selleck was unhappy about this, but Wahlberg recently told Parade magazine that he has been in contact with Selleck and they are on good terms.

According to The Playlist, the script for The Hunt for Ben Solo wasn’t just a preliminary idea. Lucasfilm had officially approved it, and key figures like Kathleen Kennedy, Carrie Beck, and Dave Filoni were all very excited about the project. They were reportedly highly enthusiastic about turning it into a movie.

According to industry insider Daniel Richtman (DanielRPK), Paramount Pictures is considering a new title for the next Sonic the Hedgehog movie, currently planned as Sonic the Hedgehog 4. Richtman reports on his Patreon that the studio is thinking of calling it simply Sonic CD, a nod to the classic 1993 Sega CD game of the same name. This title change would likely hint to fans which stories and characters from the Sonic universe the fourth film will feature.
