Now that Netflix’s most popular show, Stranger Things, is finishing with its fifth season in late 2025, many fans are hoping the platform will revive The OA. While it’s unlikely to happen, the show’s creators seem determined to bring it back for a proper conclusion, and they haven’t given up hope.

This resulted in the prequel series Dexter: Original Sin, featuring a new cast taking on familiar characters. While Michael C. Hall, the actor who plays Dexter Morgan in all versions, returned as the voiceover narrator, Patrick Gibson played a younger Dexter.

As a huge movie fan, I was really interested to hear that Thomas Brandon, the showrunner for The Copenhagen Test, is a big fan of The Truman Show – it’s one of my favorites too! And you can definitely see the influence. The new series centers around Simu Liu’s character, Alexander Hale, who realizes someone’s hacked his mind and is watching his every move. He has to act like everything’s normal while trying to figure out what’s real, which is exactly the kind of mind-bending premise that made The Truman Show so brilliant. The fact that The Copenhagen Test is doing well just proves there’s still a lot of potential in exploring these kinds of stories.

Currently, six X-Men characters – five from the previous Fox X-Men movies – will join Earth’s heroes in a battle against Doctor Doom, played by Robert Downey, Jr. These characters are Cyclops, Magneto, Mystique, Professor X, Gambit, and Nightcrawler. While many expect Wolverine to appear, Hugh Jackman’s involvement hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.

A particularly unsettling moment in episode 8 of Welcome to Derry occurs when Pennywise reveals to Marge (Matilda Lawler) that she will eventually have Richie Tozier (Finn Wolfhard). Even more disturbingly, Pennywise claims he remembers meeting Richie years later, during the events of IT and IT: Chapter Two.

If the reports are accurate, Esfandi is set to play Paul Rabin in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and it’s a fantastic choice – he’s ideally suited for the role.

Cards that directly remove threats from the field, often called ‘board breakers,’ are generally more powerful and have a bigger effect on the game than ‘hand traps.’ This is because they can cancel out your opponent’s card effects or destroy cards they’ve already played.
