Okay, so the new teaser is everything. It starts with Miranda, looking totally powerful, walking through the office to Madonna’s ‘Vogue’ – seriously, the click-clack of those red heels is instantly iconic. Then, just as she’s about to get in the elevator, Andy saves the day, smoothly stepping in between the doors. Miranda gives her that classic, cool once-over and deadpans, “Took you long enough.” But then, Andy’s face lights up with a huge grin, and you can just see Miranda give a tiny, satisfied smirk. It’s such a great moment – you can really feel their dynamic!

The new movie brings back most of the original cast, featuring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. David Frankel, who directed the first film, and writer Aline Brosh McKenna have also returned.

Details about the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day are still scarce, but fans are excited about the potential team-ups with heroes like the Punisher and Hulk. To build excitement for the movie’s release on May 1, 2026, 20th Century Studios is launching a fashion line. The new film, a sequel to the beloved 2006 original, features many of the same memorable characters. The first look at the movie shows a funny and knowing reunion between Meryl Streep’s Miranda Priestly and Anne Hathaway’s Andy Sachs, playing on the original film’s themes.

Starring Robert Duvall, Téa Leoni, Elijah Wood, Vanessa Redgrave, Maximilian Schell, and Morgan Freeman as the President of the United States, Deep Impact hit theaters on May 8, 1998, nearly two months before Armageddon. While it wasn’t as financially successful at the box office, it was received slightly better by critics, but that’s not saying a lot. On Rotten Tomatoes, Deep Impact holds a 45% rating from pundits, which is two points higher than Armageddon’s 43% score. The official synopsis reads:

The movie, inspired by the classic toy that has taken people on imaginative journeys through colorful scenes since 1939, will be produced by Robbie Brenner of Mattel, along with Todd Black, Steve Tisch, Jason Blumenthal, and Tony Shaw from Escape Artists Productions.

Currently, the horror movie The Carpenter’s Son has a 33% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 12 critic reviews. This means the film is currently considered “rotten” by the site, though the score may change as more reviews are published.

AMC Theatres says the new movie, Avatar: Fire and Ash, will be three hours and fifteen minutes long. That’s only three minutes longer than The Way of Water, but it’s still the longest movie in the Avatar series so far.

Believe it or not, the idea for the movie came about when Lawrence and others were discussing cancel culture during lockdown. It started as a joke – “What if Miss Piggy got canceled?” – and surprisingly, that funny thought has now become a real Disney film.
