I’m so excited! Russell T Davies and the BBC just announced when the new series will finally be here! It’s starting in the UK on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Sunday, December 7th, with the first two episodes dropping all at once. A new report from Daniel Richtman suggests that the upcoming Doomsday film will include more than one Black Panther, alongside Letitia Wright’s Shuri. This fits with earlier speculation that while multiple characters may take on the Black Panther mantle eventually, Shuri will be the primary Black Panther for the foreseeable future.
The third episode, titled “Grenade,” opens with a memory of Carol and her wife, Helen (Miriam Shor), on a lavish trip Helen planned. Carol isn’t thrilled to be there, but they’re at an incredible ice hotel in Norway – a building made entirely of ice and kept frozen by the cold weather. This scene takes place 2,600 days before the world changes for Carol.
A makeup mistake could have given Sydney Sweeney a dark circle around her eyes, but the show’s makeup artist nailed the look – which is common for the actresses on Euphoria. The bold eyeliner was balanced by a simple lip, and her sleek black dress flowed on the floor, with the velvet creating a shiny, wet effect. Her hair was freshly cut and styled to look casually messy, like she’d just been to the beach. While not her most dramatic outfit ever, it had a lovely vintage feel that I really liked.

Not much is known about the upcoming film, Running, but Deadline reports it’s the story of a talented runner striving for success, using their abilities to overcome a troubled past and build a better future. The screenplay is by Bill Dubuque, known for his work as an executive producer and story writer on Ozark. Dubuque and director Gavin O’Connor have worked together before – he wrote both The Accountant movies and is likely to write a third, which O’Connor has mentioned is in development.
Matt Damon recently shared details about Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, which is based on Homer’s The Odyssey. He confirmed the movie will cover significant events from the poem, including Odysseus’s journey home after the Trojan War. The script includes well-known scenes like the Trojan Horse, encounters with the Sirens, and the battle with the Cyclops. As Damon put it, “If the script says you’re being chased by a Cyclops, you’re going to be running!”
As a huge JRPG fan, I love how diverse the genre is! There are so many different stories and ways to play, it’s awesome. Whether you’re into epic fantasy, futuristic sci-fi, or even something set in the real world, I genuinely believe there’s a JRPG out there for absolutely anyone.

Marvel announced that the organization SHIELD will return in the January 2026 issue of Captain America (#6). This is the first time SHIELD has been reintroduced since its disbandment in the 2017 Secret Empire storyline, and a new version of Nick Fury Jr. will be in charge.
