Okay, so if you’re a Transformers fan like me, you need to know that Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is leaving Netflix on February 25th! That doesn’t give us much time to re-watch it. It came out in 2023 and continues the story after Bumblebee (with Hailee Steinfeld!), and it’s based on the classic toys we all grew up with. Michael Bay was a producer, and I really liked Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback as Noah and Elene. Definitely squeezing in another viewing before it’s gone!

According to Deadline, Tia Napolitano is leaving her position as showrunner of the CBS drama Fire Country after four seasons. She plans to pursue other development opportunities, and her departure will take effect at the end of the current season.

Disney has released a new photo from the upcoming season of Daredevil: Born Again. The image features Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones and Charlie Cox as Daredevil, both in costume, standing on a rooftop. While the photo doesn’t reveal any plot details, it gives fans a first look at the two heroes together.

Okay, so I just read that The Batman – Part 2 is finally hitting theaters on October 1, 2027. That’s a seriously long wait – over five and a half years after the first one! Apparently, this is a big deal because DC usually doesn’t make us wait more than four years between Batman movies. It’s going to be the longest gap ever between back-to-back theatrical Batman films, which is kind of wild to think about!

According to What’s on Netflix, the second season of Bet is currently expected to premiere in 2027, along with Wednesday Season 3 and other popular Netflix shows. Bet, which first came out in May 2025, follows Yumeko Jabami, a brilliant and adventurous student who attends a prestigious school focused on gambling, all while investigating the deaths of her parents.

It’s been almost two years since True Detective season 4 finished, and details about season 5 are still scarce. We do know Issa Lopez will return as showrunner. While there’s been talk of Nicolas Cage potentially starring in the next season, those reports haven’t been officially confirmed.

According to reports, Oshiyama recently presented at a preview of the “Look Back” Theatrical Anime Exhibition, an art show celebrating the award-winning animated film. Attendees had the opportunity to view concept art, storyboards, and other materials used in the making of “Look Back.”

The upcoming Prime Video series based on God of War will adapt the Norse mythology storyline from the games, and will portray Kratos as physically smaller than his stature in the game. While Kratos is nearly 6’4″ in the games, he appears much shorter when alongside characters like Tyr and Thor. The show needs to accurately reflect this difference in size to stay true to the source material.

I’ve seen a lot of show endings that really let me down – things like How I Met Your Mother and even Game of Thrones were way worse than what Stranger Things delivered. So many finales are either so confusing you can’t even follow them, or they just don’t seem to care about the characters or the people who watched the whole time. Stranger Things wasn’t perfect, and it left me with a few questions, but honestly, it did a lot better than most shows at sticking the landing.

The 2009 film Taken, starring Liam Neeson, redefined the action-thriller genre and paved the way for many similar vigilante movies in the following decade and beyond. The story centers on a retired CIA operative who uses his skills to rescue his kidnapped daughter, delivering brutal justice to those responsible. Despite a small $25 million budget, Taken became a massive box office success, earning over $228 million worldwide.
