I was honestly worried after The Exorcist: Believer didn’t quite land. It felt like the future of the franchise was up in the air! I heard they’d originally planned another movie with the same director, but after the box office results, that was scrapped. Then, thankfully, Mike Flanagan stepped in – I’m a huge fan of his work on Doctor Sleep and The Haunting of Hill House! He’s going to be writing and directing a completely fresh take, ignoring what happened in Believer, which I think is a brilliant move. Okay, so the show All’s Fair is getting another season, which is… surprising, to say the least. Deadline broke the news, but honestly, the critical response hasn’t been great. Rotten Tomatoes has 30 reviews tallied up, and the show is sitting at a measly 3% positive. Now, we all know Rotten Tomatoes isn’t the be-all and end-all, but that score basically means most critics found more to dislike than like in this first season. It wasn’t universally hated, just… largely disappointing, apparently.

Deadline reports that Scarlett Johansson is the first actor confirmed to star in Mike Flanagan’s upcoming reboot of The Exorcist. Blumhouse and Morgan Creek Productions were looking for a major star for the role, and Johansson was a strong contender after her recent work on Jurassic World Rebirth. Coordinating schedules between Flanagan and Johansson, who has also received an Oscar nomination, proved challenging, but the film is expected to be their next project. Flanagan announced Johansson’s casting with the following statement:

Released over Thanksgiving weekend in 2024, Moana 2 earned $1.059 billion globally, surpassing the box office performance of the original Moana. Despite its financial success, the sequel generally didn’t receive the same positive reviews. Critics gave the first Moana a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but Moana 2 only scored 60%.

The series Ballerina has been consistently popular on Starz in the U.S. since it launched in late September. Although Ana de Armas’ character might not attract huge crowds to movie theaters, viewers are enjoying the spin-off from the convenience of streaming at home.

CBS has released the official trailer for Y: Marshals, a new series premiering on March 1, 2026. Set after the conclusion of Yellowstone, the show follows Kayce as he joins a team of U.S. marshals and uses his abilities to help others. He’ll be working alongside new characters, including Logan Marshall-Green (from Upgrade) as his fellow marshal, Pete Calvin. The trailer suggests Y: Marshals will be the most action-packed story yet in Taylor Sheridan’s western universe. You can view the trailer below.

It seems strange, considering CNN’s ratings and reputation have been declining for years, and many Americans rarely encounter the network outside of airports. However, the Ellison family – Larry and David – apparently believes the network is a valuable business worth maintaining and even growing.

Since the main show finished, the actor returned as his character in The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which takes place in France and Spain as the character attempts to get back to the United States. The series has been popular with both critics and viewers, but it was recently announced that season four of Daryl Dixon will be the last.

Despite receiving negative reviews – currently holding a 3% rating on Rotten Tomatoes – Hulu has renewed All’s Fair for a second season. The announcement, made on X (formerly Twitter), surprised many. Apparently, the show’s strong cast and intentionally over-the-top dialogue have proven popular enough to bring it back.
