Following the release of the first three episodes of Critical Role’s The Mighty Nein in 2025, the fourth episode offered a lot to think about. This is the second story from Prime Video set in the world of Exandria, following The Legend of Vox Machina, and takes place about twenty years later. With a fourth season of Vox Machina planned for 2026, I didn’t anticipate any hints about LOVM in The Mighty Nein, but a brief scene in Episode 4 makes me think it might have revealed an answer to a question left unanswered in Vox Machina.

Fans familiar with early drafts of Kill Bill won’t be shocked by this short film, as the story was originally part of the script. It picks up right after the Bride defeats O-Ren Ishii and the Crazy 88. In this version of events, Gogo Yubari’s sister, Yuki, follows the Bride to America seeking revenge. If you don’t play Fortnite, you can also watch the short in theaters with the release of The Whole Bloody Affair on December 5th.

Glover didn’t share many details initially, but he announced on X (formerly Twitter) that he went to the hospital in Houston after a show in New Orleans because he wasn’t feeling well. Doctors determined he couldn’t perform that night, and further tests revealed he wouldn’t be able to complete his U.S. tour as planned. He’s now scheduled for surgery and needs time to recover.

Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman are back as the main characters, and many of the original voice actors have returned to play the citizens of the city. The cast now includes Ke Huy Quan as Gary De’Snake, a viper who Nick and Judy investigate. In a review for TopMob, Dirk Libbey says Zootopia 2 is an improvement over the first movie, offering a straightforward and enjoyable story. He rates it 4 out of 5 stars and writes:

Honestly, this show, The Chair Company, is just classic Tim Robinson – totally weird, hilarious, and you’re always left wondering what’s going on! The latest episode ended on such a crazy note, everyone’s buzzing about how it’s all going to wrap up in the finale. (Good news, though – we’re already getting a Season 2!) It looks like Ron finally cracked the case of who’s behind the Tecca stuff, but now he’s in a really tough spot. He has to decide if he should expose some serious corruption, or protect his wife’s job. It’s a huge dilemma for him!

Towards the film’s conclusion, Joan initially appears to choose Luke, and they plan a life together in a secluded cabin. However, she quickly realizes she’s made a mistake, recognizing that she was swept away by the impulsiveness of young love. Ultimately, she reconnects with Larry, and they build a life together in the suburbs.

Okay, so I’m really excited – the next Avatar movie, officially titled Avatar: Fire and Ash, is hitting US theaters next month! James Cameron is back directing, and thankfully Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña are returning as Jake and Neytiri. Can’t wait to see what happens next in Pandora!
