This year marked the 16th annual Watty Awards, and Wattpad received over 7,000 complete novels as submissions. These stories spanned a variety of genres, including romance, fantasy, mystery, and thriller. Notably, over half of the submitted novels featured main characters from diverse backgrounds. In a poll of the 2025 participants, over 75% believed that participating in the Wattys would help them grow their writing careers.

The show featured a diverse group of people – different ages, backgrounds, and social statuses. Despite their contrasting lives, they came together through thick and thin, making it one of Bravo’s most popular reality series.

I’m so excited to see Zootopia 2 doing so well! It’s already made over $917 million around the world and is quickly approaching $1 billion! It’s amazing to think it’s even surpassed Cars 2 at the box office. Cars 2 made $559 million, which was a good result, but Zootopia 2 is clearly the bigger franchise when it comes to ticket sales. John C. McGinley recently told People he didn’t hesitate to rejoin the upcoming Scrubs revival. He described creator Bill Lawrence – known for Apple TV+ hits like Ted Lasso and Shrinking – as a close friend and a hugely influential figure in comedy, comparing him to Norman Lear. McGinley also believes the show’s return is thanks to a new generation of fans, including his own daughters.

According to Variety, actor Nicholas Hoult, known for his role in Mad Max: Fury Road, recently spoke at the Red Sea Film Festival about his career choices. He noted that his recent roles have been increasingly complex and darker, but also offered him the chance to work with some of his dream directors. “Looking back at the films I made – The Order, Nosferatu, and Juror #2 – I feel really fortunate,” he said. “If I could have told myself 10 to 15 years ago that I’d get to collaborate with Robert Eggers, Clint Eastwood, and Justin Kurzel all in one year, playing those characters in those films, I would have been incredibly happy.”
