As a big film fan, I’m really excited about the upcoming Cape Fear series on Apple TV, slated for 2026! It’s a fresh take on the story that started with John D. MacDonald’s novel, The Executioners, and has already been brilliantly adapted for the screen – especially Martin Scorsese’s fantastic, though I think underappreciated, ’90s version with Robert De Niro. What’s got me even more hyped is the incredible cast they’ve assembled: Javier Bardem, Amy Adams, and Patrick Wilson all filmed scenes earlier this year, and some new set photos just dropped, giving us a first glimpse of them in action. It looks promising!
