As a K-drama fan, I really appreciated that Can This Love Be Translated didn’t rush things. Mu-hee and Ho-jin meet right away, but their connection isn’t instant. We get to see them struggle with misunderstandings, their own insecurities, and even other potential partners before they finally, inevitably, become that K-drama couple. Honestly, all that build-up makes their eventual romance even more satisfying – it’s totally worth the wait!

The series Can This Love Be Translated doesn’t create drama just to keep the main characters separated. There’s a strong connection between them that keeps them drawn to each other, even when things are difficult. However, Mu-hee believes she’s unworthy of love, and this deeply ingrained feeling makes it hard for Ho-jin’s efforts to win her over at first.

Ho-jin is essential to Mu-hee’s recovery, and she helps him too. He doesn’t see her as someone to ‘fix,’ but feels a strong need to protect the person she truly is – the woman he’s falling in love with. While the main romance develops slowly, this Netflix series has something to appeal to a wide range of viewers.
