Kaley Cuoco, known for her role in *The Big Bang Theory*, is starring in a new mystery thriller. The series follows her character as she investigates the disappearance of her boyfriend while he was traveling in Paris. While produced by Amazon MGM Studios, the show won’t be available on Prime Video; it will stream on a different platform.
The new thriller series, *Vanished*, starring Kaley Cuoco and Sam Claflin (known for *Enola Holmes*), will debut on MGM+ in February 2026. Created by David Hilton and Preston Thompson (who also wrote *Pixie*), the series has generated excitement from Michael Wright, head of MGM+, who is pleased to add it to their streaming lineup.

In addition to Cuoco annd Claflin, the cast of Vanished features Karin Viard (The Bélier Family), Matthias Schweighöfer (Army of the Dead), Simon Abkarian (Casino Royale), and Dar Zuzovsky (The Saints). Barnaby Thompson (Mad About The Boy – The Noel Coward Story) directed the episodes, which began filming in May earlier this year. Read the official synopsis:

Kaley Cuoco Moves Back to TV After Action Comedy Flop

Kaley Cuoco and David Oyelowo starred in the action comedy *Role Play*, which premiered on Prime Video in early 2024, but it wasn’t a hit with critics. The film received a 25% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and while audiences liked it slightly more (42% on the Popcornmeter), it still didn’t perform well on streaming charts. Despite the lukewarm reception, *Role Play* has found some fans who enjoy its similarities to *Mr. and Mrs. Smith*.
For their anniversary, Emma (Kaley Cuoco) and Dave (David Oyelowo) try to add some excitement to their night in New York City with a playful role-playing game. However, things quickly become dangerous when Emma’s hidden identity as a professional assassin is revealed by a mysterious man named Bob (Bill Nighy), putting her family in danger. Emma must use all her training and courage to keep her loved ones safe.
