Robert Irwin finished 2025 with a win on Dancing With the Stars, and that momentum is carrying into 2026. While getting back to his work at Australia Zoo, he’s also landed a new reality TV show. Before the show begins, he shared a sweet video with his Dancing With the Stars partner, Witney Carson.
Carson and her family have been excitedly sharing their upcoming trip to Australia Zoo on social media, and now they’ve finally arrived! She recently posted a video of her family on the flight, and she’s now reunited with Irwin. It’s only been a little over a month since the Dancing With the Stars finale, but it feels like ages since Carson and Irwin were together, working towards winning the competition. It’s great to see them together again!
Now that Carson is visiting Australia Zoo, she’ll also get to meet Witney, the wallaby the zoo named after her!
It’s lovely to see how close these two still are, and how the wildlife expert has become like family to the dancer. I’ve really missed their fun TikTok videos, and I hope this isn’t the last one they make together!
Robert Irwin is reuniting with Julia Morris just before taking on another TV project in 2026. People magazine confirmed he’ll be co-hosting the new season of Australia’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, which begins January 18th. Irwin took over hosting duties from Chris Brown in 2024, joining Morris, who has hosted the show since its start in 2015. While it’s not a typical performance-based show, it promises plenty of entertainment.
