In the hallowed halls of Schwab Network, Jan van Eck, CEO and part-time prophet, opined that investors should, hold onto your hats, clutch both Bitcoin AND gold in their portfolios. Apparently, the secret to financial harmony isn’t just about avoiding bankruptcy; it’s about a harmonious stew of shiny metals and digital digits.
This wise oracle claims these assets are “very similar” because they both have a limited supply. Yes, both the shiny yellow and the pixelated magic are scarce, much like your favorite socks after laundry day. Who knew scarcity was the secret sauce?
Крипто хиппи
And if you think this is just the ramblings of a seasoned financial wizard, he threw in a bit of himself-“Maybe I’m a crypto hippie.” Because nothing screams professionalism like throwing your tie over your shoulder and calling yourself a spiritual wanderer of the financial universe. He claims owning both assets helps during market rollercoasters, which makes as much sense as bringing a umbrella to a hurricane.
Что VanEck не нравится в Bitcoin.
Despite his rather poetic call for holding both, he’s not entirely under a Bitcoin love-in. No, he’s grumpy about Bitcoin’s new BFF-Nasdaq. Now it’s like that friend who used to be cool but is now just a shadow of his former self, all tied up with stocks and risk.
He admits Bitcoin was once a wonderful diversifier-like having a wild card in your poker hand. But now it’s as intertwined with Nasdaq as bad dance moves at a wedding. “I’m just hoping things go through cycles,” he sighs, probably dreaming of days when Bitcoin was the rebellious teenager instead of the middle-aged dad it’s becoming.
