Avengers: Doomsday is expected to have more battle scenes than any other movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
There’s been a lot of discussion about the first fight in Avengers: Doomsday, between the X-Men and Spider-Man (played by Tobey Maguire), which is said to result in the destruction of Spider-Man’s world. But according to a source, there will actually be three more huge battles in the movie, and surprisingly, they’ll all happen at the same time.
Where will the three major Avengers: Doomsday battles take place?
MAJESTIC_ucm recently shared details on X about the upcoming “Avengers: Doomsday” event. According to the post, the story will feature three large-scale battles happening at the same time. The first takes place on the X-Men’s world, with magically controlled Sentinels attacking. The second will be a major fight in New York City, involving heroes like Hawkeye, Spider-Man, Kate Bishop, and Hulk against alien invaders. The third and final battle will occur in Latveria.
Rumors often aren’t completely correct, so fans shouldn’t assume this information is definite. However, if the reports are true, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk, and Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye will be in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday movie. While many expected them to appear, Marvel Studios hadn’t officially confirmed their roles until now.
The upcoming fight in Latveria will probably pit Doctor Doom against Earth’s Mightiest Heroes – the Avengers, New Avengers, and Fantastic Four. The fact that magic is controlling the Sentinels hints that the Scarlet Witch or Doctor Strange might be responsible for the conflict involving the X-Men, as reports indicate they are both assisting Doom in the film.
Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely penned the script for Doomsday, and Joe and Anthony Russo directed it. Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as Doctor Doom in the film, alongside many other returning cast members.
The next Avengers movie, currently titled ‘Doomsday’, is planned for release on December 18, 2026, and will be part of the sixth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
